1999 engine with the updated electric IMRC intake valve, new Delphi fuel pump.
Floor shift (reliable) 4wd , 8 foot long box
9.75 rear differential with disc brakes (the old 8.8 was starting to howl).

The 1997 & 1998 4.2 engines had intake gasket problems, and would hydrolock the engine. That happened to this one. The 1999 and newer engines, like this now has, do not have the problem. I replaced intake gaskets and crank seals before installing the newer engine.
This was a farm truck from the Devils Lake area, which is why it has little rust.
