Description: Under direction of the Audio-Visual Supervisor, provides for the audio-visual, stage lighting, closed circuit television and general needs of user of the facility; and does related work as required.

Examples of Duties

1. Sets up and takes down audio-visual and closed-circuit television equipment.

2. Able to perform tasks associated with stage lighting and predetermined plots/designs.

3. Operates a variety of audio-visual equipment and computers.

4. Ensures that all equipment and systems are in operating order by making minor repairs and adjustments or by reporting need for repairs.

5. Meets with users to assist in planning of audio-visual, lighting and other associated needs.

6. Assists in setup of productions.

7. Works in conjunction with conversion coordination in maintenance department to insure efficiency of room sets.

8. Performs other duties of a comparable level/type as required.

Qualifications

Graduation from high school and two years of experience operating audio-visual equipment similar to that being used at the Bismarck Event Center.
